Contemporary full tan leather, approximately 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches, 282 pp, illustrated with frontispiece, on laid paper with chain lines. Leather a bit scuffed, corners bumped with a bit of cardboard exposed there, both boards detached (present) , an approximately 1/2 inch chip off both head and foot of spine. Internally, an approximately 2 inch deep light tan stain on inside edges of first few leaves, previous owner's signature (George W Morgan) on title page, 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep strip cut off lower edges of four or five leaves (text unaffected) , some tanning and stray foxing throughout, lower corners of two groups of adjoining leaves creased, otherwise tight, clean, relatively crisp and unmarked.
