Brown pictorial boards with circular cld pl on the upper board. Title and author in dark brown with four figures, Red Indian, Trapper in snow attire, Crusader and Pirate in dark brown and cream. Title and author in dark brown on the spine, publisher in cream and a school boy depicted in an oval border within a rectangular border. There are two small holes on the upper fore edge. A piece of brown paper tape is pasted to the top of the front fep, possibly to cover up a previous owners name or inscription. The end papers are grey and the feps are browned. There is some spotting to the edges and occassional foxing to the text. The seventh pl is pulled but not detatched. A very good bright, tight copy of this circa 1930's publication. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
