Pages are in very good condition, small amount of tears that are very minor from page to page but they still have very bright illustrations throughout. There is pencil writing on and some pages within the book, but book is completely intact and in fine condition/very good condition.

The corners are bumped and worn as are the edges, there is a 2" rip to the spine on the front edge and there is a tear at the top of the spine at rear edge of 1". J.Clemens Gretter and Elizabeth Georgiena Selover (illustrators). The end papers are decorated in red and tan with a modern city in the back ground and a covered wagon in the fore ground, with a property of Topsfield, Mass. The interior is age yellowed and has some corners bent and wonderful colored pictures throughout. 479 pp see our other childhood readers.
