In 282 pages with glossy frontispiece + 3 internal illustrations by J. M. Foster. A FIRST EDITION, unknown printing, from 1926, this hardcover12mo has blue-gray cloth over boards stamped with light teal lettering & a cameo image to front, darker blue lettering to spine. Condition is VG+: quite clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages modestly tanned, heavier around edges, but completely unmarked save for former owner's name & school & date to ffep in pencil (we never erase these old readers' names). Soil smudge to this page as well. Corners crisp.
