Gilt cover decorartion is still in good order. No inscriptions, illustrated, all plates present, some are slightly spotted. Text is in very good order with little wear. No loose pages, hinges tight, slight spine lean. Heavy book, will require additional postage outside the UK.
George Beldam was the first photographer to take action-photographs and thus break down the various stages of technique. There are comparable works for cricket and golf. First Edition, reissue. Large 8vo. xxix + 3 blanks + 403pp. Frontispiece (tissue-guard), 229 action-photographs. Original green cloth with gilt figure of tennis player serving to front cover. Wear to spine, and rubbing to all edges. A good copy.
