The book was at one time a library book and has the remnants of a pocket in the back and a number printed on the outer spine but no stamps or other marks. The front cover features a haywagon with a man driving the team and a bunch of kids riding. The covers have some wear on the faces and around the edges. The spine is tight but has some wear and fraying on the outer spine. The pages are a bit worn around the edges from reading but are in good shape and have only a few marks and spots. There are a number of good illustrations to help the reader follow the story. The title page is missing from the front of the book, everything else seems to be there. 182 pages.
