Condition: Buono (Good). 1. In-4° (mm 240x180). Pagine [12], 157, [9]., 4 bianche. Bel frontespizio calcografico e 31 tavole a piena pagina nel testo. Piccolo lavoro di tarlo marginale alle prime carte, occasionali tracce d'uso ma ottima copia. Legatura coeva in piena pergamena floscia con titolo manoscritto al dorso. Al frontespizio notazione manoscritta coeva. Prima edizione. L'apparato iconografico si costituisce di una bella veduta di Bassano presa dal Convento di S. Fortunato, in cui è raffigurato anche il celebre ponte - la prima incisione in ordine di tempo di Bassano e del suo paesaggio - e da 31 splendide tavole incise da Valegio (o Valesio) raffiguranti i più celebri eremiti nei loro ritiri. Brunet I 1693; Cicognara 2007: «Lorenzo Pignoria spiega in un avviso al lettore come il Cavacio fosse pieno d'ingegno, pittore, incisore e disegnatore d'architettura» e che il Valegio avesse inciso queste tavole cercando di imitare la scuola fiamminga e in particolare Sadeler; LeBlanc IV, 88; Piantanida 4566.
