Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Hardcover. Dark red cloth-covered boards with black stamping around gold lettering on the front cover, and gold lettering along the spine. Corners are bumped and the spine is worn. Top of text block is gilt. Inscription from a previous owner on the inside cover. On page opposite of the title page is a black-and-white plate covered by vellum of Edward Tiffin. Title page dated 1897. 149 pages plus a page for appendix and a page for appendix f. Binding is square and tight. A pencil and mark mark on page 10, but otherwise clean interiors. Overall, a very good copy.
