Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the history of the University of Sassari to examine its financial decline and advocate for its revitalization. The author presents a detailed account of the university's founding and subsequent financial struggles, arguing that it has been historically underfunded by the state compared to other Italian universities. This disparity has resulted in the university's inability to keep up with the demands of modern education and has put its future in jeopardy. The book explores the impact of this funding disparity on the university's ability to provide quality education and contribute to the advancement of knowledge. It also examines the broader issue of inequality in funding among Italian universities and the need for a more equitable distribution of resources. Ultimately, the book argues that investing in the University of Sassari is not only a matter of justice but also a vital step towards ensuring the future of higher education in Italy.
