The American photographer specialized in capturing large vistas and large groups of people and raised this particular artform to a new level. The book is profusely illustrated throughout with countless high quality b/w photographic reproductions after original images by Goldbeck, including many fold-out images, measuring as much as 4 1/2'. Also includes numerous images of the photographer himself at work, and biographical text. Slipcase, dust jacket, binding and interior all in near fine condition.
