Condition: Fair. 1935. Limited Edition. 362 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Signed by the author. Yellow cloth boards with brown cloth to spine and gilt lettering. Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Inscribed by the author to the Falmouth Public Library to front free endpaper. Limited edition to 500 copies of which this is copy no. 36. Contains black and white illustrations and plates. Noticeable cracking to front hinge causing board to be loose. Binding throughout remains firm with all pages attached. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed with mild markings. More pronounced to text block edges, endpapers, and pastedowns. Visible brown staining to rear pastedown and endpaper. Book has a slight odour. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Noticeable black markings with mid water staining to all surfaces. Tape marks to bottom edge of spine. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Book ha.

Half-Linen. Condition: Good+. No Jacket. First Edition/Limited. Limited to 500 copies; this copy is not numbered. A clean, tight unmarked copy which has some slight separation of the front board from the ffep, and a rather more obvious one in the back. This has, however, not compromised the tightness of the book. The corners of the boards are nicked, and the brown linen of the spine is somewhat worn. There is a tape mark at the bottom of the spine. This copy belonged to Leighton Wilkie, the prominent Chicago inventor and founder of the DoAll company, whose book plate is on the inside of the front cover. Oversize; may require extra shipping charges.
