Hardcover. Condition: Good. Hardcover. Gray cloth with decorative red, black, and gold stamping. Title page not dated. Copyright page dated 1882. 387 pages. In good condition. Covers have some soiling and toning, but no major markings or defects. Stamping is a bit rubbed, but overall remains quite bright and handsome. Some bumping at head and foot of spine and at corners. Front gutter is cracked through, but covers are firmly attached and binding remains secure. No loose pages. Previous owner's name and short inscription written on front attached endpaper. Pages are toned with age, but free of marks or tears. Black and white plates throughout. Overall, a good reading copy.
