Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. 1st Edition; 1st Printing. This book is in Very Good+ condition and is lacking the dust jacket. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is some beginning bumping and rubbing to the spine ends and corners of the book covers. The text pages are mostly clean and bright, though a couple of pages have some ground-in dirt and fingermarks. There is a previous owner's bookplate on the front pastedown page (Jean Saladana). A suspense / fantasy novel not found in Bleiler dealing with an advertising copywriter who is given time off in England in order to rest and recooperate from overworking - while there, he has an idea to put together something that would be worthy of the Bard (Shakespeare) which comes to him in the form of "ghostly voices" and intuition. Whether he is purposely trying to pull one over on the British is not immediately clear. The author is listed in: Novels, Novelists and Readers: Toward a Phenomenological Sociology. Apparently, many of the author's works appear to have some form of phenomena included. He was also, a one point, editor of Collier's Weekly.
