The poems are of the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, the "other" wars, and after the wars. The illustrator, "Moki" Martin, native of Hawaii, was a Navy Seal who was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with valor for a top secret POW rescue mission off of North Vietnam. Illustrations are all black-and-white except for one full page, full color illustration. Book.
