Bump/creases at the top corner of pages 513 to 548 - migrates lightly into several adjacent pages, a 1" fore-edge tear to pages 803/804 and an illustration page opposite page 916 - both archivally taped, the top edge of pages 873 to 892 are slightly rough from trimming, various pages have some soft wrinkling due to handling, colour illustration opposite page 398 has several very small areas of surface paper loss whhich are glued to page 398, small piece of cloth missing at the top edge of the rear board, very light edge wear, light wrinkling at the top of the spine, shallow dent on the front board/hinge near top of hinge, two small dents at the bottom of the front edge of the spine, scattered light marks on the front board due to light colour fading to cloth.
