Exclamation Point, Exclamation Point, Exclamation Point. all without an explanation or even a &. Rev. George Hughes Hepworth (1833-1902) was an interesting character. He was Chaplain of 47th Massachusetts Volunteers for three months, then became 1st Lt of 76th Regiment of US Colored Troops, staying in the Army until 1869 when he went as preacher to the Church of the Messiah. From 1872-1879 he was at the Church of the Disciples. He then went to Switzerland and Germany for his health. Around this time he developed a relationship with Charles Woodcock (Savage). In Germany Woodcock developed a intimate (homosexual) relationship with King Karl of Germany. Hepworth was drawn into the scandal that followed but never fully accused of homosexuality. Set on the path of author and journalist he published many articles and books, Hepworth was the New York Herald's Supervising Editor from March 1885 to the summer of 1892. In 1897 he went to Anatolia and stayed through the winter. Out of this trip came his most famous work: 'Through Armenia on Horseback' (1898). SCARCE. OCCULT 12 Language: eng.
