No Binding. Condition: Collectible-Very Good. Typewritten letter dated October 12, 1914 on James O. Heyworth business letterhead. 1 page, 8 1/2 x 11 inches. Fold lines, note on back in blue pencil. Signature mildly smeared. James O. Heyworth was an engineer and construction contractor in Chicago, Illinois. He was also an avid yachtsman, at one time Commodore of the Chicago Yacht Club. In this letter directed to another member of the yacht club, L. G. Fisher, he recommends Captain Julius Lang to Mr. Fisher because Mr. Heyworth had heard that Mr. Fisher was having trouble with his crew. The Chicago Yacht Club awards the James O. Heyworth Trophy every year during its Race to Mackinac. Signed by Author(s).
