There is a handwritten number on lower spine. Binding is good. Old bookbinder's ink stamp on rear endpaper, along with some paper residue from removed labels. Several pages throughout text have small torn or cut areas missing. In most cases the missing portion is blank margin area, except for two pages (151 and 153) where some of the text and illustrations are missing as well. A couple of pages have longer, closed tears through illustrations or text. A number and date ink-stamped on Preface page. No other marks. A few pages also have creased corners. All pages are toned. Despite condition, still an interesting copy. LO.
