Decorative Cloth. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Salesman's Sample. Green decorative cloth with gilt lettering to the front, red cloth with gilt lettering to the rear. FEP and front flap are decorative red leather with gilt lettering and BEP and flap are addition leather colors with gilt lettering. This copy is VG. Exterior edges, tips and spine ends are modestly/moderately worn, exterior gilt is likewise similarly faded, front design is rich. 2" closed tear to back flap exterior joint. Inside is unmarked, firmly bound with a 1" closed tear to FEP. Modest toning to EPs. Text is minimally toned. Illustrated with nearly 500 drawings of which nearly 100 are shown in this sample. Looks to be about 125 pages in this sample along with 6 blank subscription pages to the rear. As with mostsalesmans samples/dummies this one is Scarce--no other such for this publication found as of October 2021.
