The illustrator is not stated but is Willy Pogany. A small mark to the lower board, otherwise in very good condition. Omar Khayyam (1048 -1131), was known as the "Astronomer-Poet of Persia". His work was first translated from Persian to English in 1859 by Edward Fitzgerald. This edition illustrated by the well-known Hungarian artist Willy Pogany, and includes a WWII letter.
