Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. New Edition. Nice bright looking copy which is bound in olive green cloth with crisp title lettering on the front and spine. No obvious sun fading although there is some minor knocking and a little wear at the extremities. Tiny split in the spine cloth at the head. There is some mild foxing here and there throughout and at the page block edge on the whole though the pages are bright and clean. On the front free end paper there's a charming inscription which reads: "a loving remembrance from the "Crown of his life". Leonard George Willden, Feb 1920" In all a very presentable copy.

A collection of facts and descriptions of natural history and modern botany from month to month throughout the year, observing different patterns of growth and country findings. With three months to each volume, covering the seasons of Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn. Written by J. A. Owen and George Simonds Boulger, an English botanist who wrote articles as the Kew Gardens correspondent for The Times. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light age toning to the extremities and endpapers. Very Good. book.
