All with separate title pages. The Dr Bird title we assume is a first English edition, 1st published in the USA in 1838 also. The Porter work was originally published in 1809. "The Pilot" by Cooper was NOT given a separate title of its own until 1838 in the USA, as it formed part of a triple title set, here it HAS a title page. There is some foxing to a few leaves in The Pilot. but still good or better the remaining titles are all firm and tight and very good. Bound in a contemporary half-calf with marbled paper boards, some light rubbing at extremes. Contents generally Very good, contents complete. * The Peter Pilgrim title has these headed short stories or extra passages also: "A Night on the Terrapin Rocks," "The Mammoth Cave," and " The Bloody Broad-Horn."
