Possibly an ex-library copy with small plate and sticker to front pastedown, but no other marks. Black and white illustrations throughout by Ivan Opffer and Hilaire Hiler. Edited by Morrill Cody. Introduction by Ernest Hemingway. Pages have moderate foxing throughout, heavier to endpapers. Pencil inscription to front pastedown and endpaper. Small sticker to front pastedown. Mild scuffing to gutter on p. 15. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Mild tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Moderate water stains to front board. Mild scuffing to joints. Book has a slight forward lean.
