About this Item: NY. Printed for the Author by G. & R. Waite, 1801. Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 4 plays by John Minshull, bound together. A Comic Opera, entitled Rural Felicity: with the Humour of Patrick and Marriage of Shelty. By John Minshull. New York. Printed for the author. 1801. 68 pages + epilogue and 4 pages of subscriber’s names. Frontispiece portrait of Minshull present but badly torn and tattered. Pages foxed. Rubberstamp on title page “Dr. J. Linsly. New. York.” Subscribers names include Robert Livingston, P.J. Schuyler, J. Tenbroeck, and a Jefferson whose first name is not given. Bound in full leather, much scuffed and bumped. Spine dry and cracking, except where it is chipped away altogether. Frontispeice detached, but all else present. Copies of this book are housed in the rare book room at the NY Society Library and at the NY Public Library. By John Minshull. Printed for the author. NY. 1803. 64 pages. ** He Stoops to Conquer, or the Virgin Wife Triumphant; a Comedy in three acts. By John Minshull. NY. Printed for the Author by G. & R.
