Book
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Attwood, Francis G. (illustrator). 8th. Eighth edition. First was 1880. 28 pp., about 25 comical illustrations by line drawings, oversized format (quarto) about 8" by 10 1/2", in red and black linen-coverd boards with stamped titles and decorations. The binding is firm with no cracking or loose pages. There are no owner's markings, in fact the printed pages are in Fine condition. The only significant flaw to the interior of the book is where a previous owner has removed a 2" by 3 1/2" portion from the blank front free endpaper, apparently where there was an inscription. The exterior of the boards is very good with expected wear to the edges especially the rear cover and the bottom-right corner of the front cover, affecting about 1/2" by 1/4". An attractive copy of this fragile item. Photos available upon request.
