First Edition
No Binding. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. [2 folios comprising 8 pages, newsprint]; nested & unbound; 430 x 290 mm. The guide to the fourth annual Toronto Small Press Book Fair (28 April 1990), produced in tabloid format by DM Owen; with his article on 'Publishing and Perishing in Canada' & an introductory piece by Bookfair Coordinator (& ultimate smallie martyr) Daniel Jones, 'Coordinator's Diary'. The central folio comprises a 'Directory of Small Press Publishers Participating in the 1990 Toronto Small Press Book Fair' with rare early snaps by founder Nick Power, of other Canadian indie corner-stoners such as Greg Evason, Daniel f Bradley, jwcurry & Mike Constable. In an attempt to drum greater attendance, a symposium was held two days before the fair redressing the usual complaints, 'What Is Small Press and What Can We Do About It?' (duh). Folded as issued, with edges sunned (as usual). Classic.
