First edition. Quarto. 39pp. 1/4 cloth over grey boards with photo plate onlay to front cover depicting an African-American nanny holding a Caucasian child. Illustrated with seven photo plates. Internally very good, with some occasional edge tearing and folding. Missing the front free endsheet, with some associated trauma to the front pastedown. Hinges weak. Boards show some wear and light sunning. Overall about very good with some flaws. Includes music and lyrics for the songs. Gertrude Manly Jones was a poet and musician.
