Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book records the literary trajectory of a Brazilian author across three decades, from the early days of adolescence to the verge of middle age. It offers a detailed and intimate account of how the author's literary preferences and inspirations evolved during the course of his life, shaped by both personal experiences and the broader intellectual and cultural landscape of 19th-century Brazil. The book delves into the author's creative process and the influences that fueled his imagination, from the romantic novels of his youth to the works of Balzac and Chateaubriand. By providing insights into the genesis of some of the author's most celebrated works, this book sheds light on the role of literature in shaping national identity and cultural expression in Brazil. Condition: Libro. Piazza Armerina, 2017; br., pp. 210, cm 11,5x19.
