Some tearing to the first (blank) page along the spine edge. Spine has very small tears to the corners. Covers have a very small edge tear to the front, some tiny spots of staining, and some very slight creasing. Many pages have very slight creasing to the outer corners.

Hardcover. Condition: USED_POOR. First Edition Thus. Linus Pierpont Brockett (1820-1893) was an American author who used several pseudonymns including Capt. Joseph Powers Hazelton. This is a reprinting of his 1866 title, "The Camp, the Battlefield, and the Hospital." This is a first edition of the reprint that used this new title; it seems to have come out in in 1892 with both a Jersey City and a Philadelphia place of publication. This copy has coverwear, and the covers are loose. The frontis illustration opposite the title page is also loose and chipped a the front edge. It should be recased with new end papers in the origional cover. Please inquire if you would like more information.
