End paper is contained in the book but has separated from the binding, happily, the inscription is on the next leaf and so is unaffected. A stamp sized portion of the advertisement on the inside cover has been worn away. The end flyleaf has been folded inward as it is of a larger paper stock than the rest of the book and would otherwise protrude beyond the cover. Pages are otherwise clean and only have the occasional spotting on a few errant pages. Cover is in good condition with only light wear. Additional photographs available on request.

Very scarce Canadian issue, gilt-embossed on cover with the name of the Canadian distributor, "The Molsons Bank", & on spine with the numeral "9" (presumably the ninth title from the series with sufficient Canadian interest to warrant representation here). A lovely copy, only lightly rubbed at extremities. A scarce title (generally encountered with library stamps), approaching rarity in its Canadian issue.
