Condition: Good. 1960. No Edition Remarks. 165 pages. Dust jacket over beige cloth. Black and white and colour photographic plates. Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Some slight looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has similar tanning with soft crushing to ends. Unclipped dust jacket with moderate rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

Printed in England, the photographs are of high quality, very clear definition in black / white and some colour. This book is unique in that it brings a portrait of mid-20th-century Canada as seen through the eyes and lens of Canada's greatest photographer, Yousuf Karsh, together with the rich verbal description of Canada's greatest publicist, John Fisher of their cross-country tour.
