Minor paper residue on upper rear flyleaf, perhaps from circulation slip, but no other indications of possible ex-library status. Firm binding. Former owner's signature inked out and inked date on front flyleaf, otherwise clean and unmarked interior. 310 pp. Illus. dust jacket mildly wrinkled along front joint and top edges, with mildly sunned spine panel, now in mylar.     Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Very Good. First Edition Thus. First US edition, hardcover, has a shallow skew to the binding, bumps with light wear to the cloth at the spine ends and corners, and some foxing with faint soiling to the edges of the text block. Overall, a solid, Very Good copy in an unclipped, Near Very Good dust jacket, which has bumps with creasing and short chips to the spine ends and corners, wear with short tears to the edges, sunning and small scuffs to the spine, rubbing with smudging to the covers, and foxing starting to the interior. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.
