The text was set, and pages made up in English monotype Sachenwald with Albertus Capitals, to the design and under the direction of Ernest Ingraham at the Fanfare Press, in London. Clean cream paper-covered boards with blue decoration, clean blue cloth spine, gold lettering on spine. Slight fading to spine cloth. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, pages are very clean with clean endpapers - no names, writing or marks. High quality paper, with each page printed upon one side of a double sheet. Gold paper-covered slipcase has wear to edges. Gorgeous book.

Marron leather with gold stamped image of seated man to front panel, hibbed spine with gold titles, ribbon marker, unpaginated 24 pages, 8 full-colour reproductions of the minature paintings by Szyk inspired by Persian miniatures. The book was designed by Ernest Ingham of London. Included is the printed Publisher's note explaining that the book edges are not gilded as the pages are double sheets in the oriental style of bookmaking. Part of the gilding process is to sand each page edge before applying the golden finish, but in this case, the sanding would separate te double sheets.
