Book First Edition Signed
First edition. Inscribed first printing of this gallery of the controversial Brutalist architect's early residential work, richly illustrated with detailed analysis. Paul Rudolph was one of the century's most most original architects, mixing the Brutalist style for which he is now best known with a modernist flair. This copy is signed by both authors. The hardcover issue is especially uncommon. 8'' x 9.75''. Original dark orange boards. Original price-clipped color pictorial dust jacket. Illustrated in black and white. 248 pages. Signed and dated by Domin and inscribed by King ("To Andre Fontaine / With Best Wishes / Joseph King. Oct 2.07") on title page, with inscribed card from Domin loosely laid in. Binding with a bit shaken with some bumping to corners and spine ends. Touch of rubbing to extremities. Bright and clean overall. Near fine in near fine dust jacket.
