About this Item: Dorn-Verlag, Berlin, 1930. Hardcover. Condition: vg. First edition. Sm. 4to. 125,[1]pp. Tan cloth with brown lettering on cover and spine. Frontisportrait of Klamt. Fascinating work by Jutta Klamt (1890-1970), who was one of the key figures of German modern dance. Unlike Mary Wigman and others, Klamt and her husband Gustav Fischer compromised their teachings to the aesthetic and political dogma of the National Socialists. Illustrated with b/w reproductions of photographs from the Jutta-Klamt-Schule. Text in German, gothic script. Some sunning and staining on binding, otherwise a tight copy with interior in near fine condition. Seller Inventory # 25170
