Dabei setzen sie sich auch mit den Begriffen 'Wahrnehmung' (aísthesis) und 'Meinung' (dóxa) auseinander, wobei Definitionsvorschläge entstehen, die noch heute in der analytischen Philosophie diskutiert werden.Der Dialog endet vordergründig in einer Aporie. Die vorliegende Arbeit fragt, ob diese Aporie ernst zu nehmen ist, indem sie die Motive zu rekonstruieren versucht, die Platon zur Abfassung des 'Theaitetos' bewogen haben.
