First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. A decent copy of the first edition, first printing which features several Japanese poets from the 1950's, an uncommon book in any edition, but especially so in the first printing and not-for-export (no mention of export to Charles Tuttle Co. on publisher's stamp). Kenkyusha publishing stamp to rear intact. Text (in English) is tight and clean. Appears unread or barely so. Lettering to spine is bright and unflaked. Light splaying, edges a bit dusty. In a Very Good dust jacket w/some short closed tears to the edges (very hard to see because of the pattern on the dust jacket), wear to spine ends and corners. Not price clipped. Previous owners' name to front endpaper. No remainder mark or spray. Not ex-lib. Not a Book Club Edition. This is a nice copy at a very good price. Compare and see. Photos sent upon request. Accurate Descriptions/Quality Books/Unmatched Prices.
