Kovar was the author of a number of books about Bobby and Betty, including BUSY DAYS (1928), GOOD TIMES (1923, also illustrated by Rhoda Chase, as well as several other books under the name Edith May Kovar Lowe, including SLEEPING BEAUTY (1939), ABOUT THINGS (1935), and WOULD YOU LIKE HVE KNOWN PETER (1935). Rhoda Chase was a well-known artist and illustrator, including of children's books. She was also the daughter of the painter Henry S. Chase. The volume here offered is a story of 7 1/2 year-old Bobby and 6 year-old Betty who love and share everything. This is the story of the celebration of Betty's birthday.
