Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good-. Photographs (illustrator). First Edition (NAP). Bound in maroon cloth with titles and decorations stamped in gilt. 288 pages. Privately printed, without publisher credit. The authors have placed a short statement of purpose, dated August 13, 1958, on the title page verso where the copyright is normally found. Signed and dated 5/25/65 on the title page verso by author William Kratville. The cloth shows only a touch of edgewear at the extremities. The dust wrapper, printed entirely in black and white, has locomotives on both panels, the front in daylight and the rear at night. Titles are placed along the lower edge of the front panel and on the spine. The wrapper has mild edgewear, a 1 inch closed tear with creases on the rear panel, a 1/2 " and a 1" closed tear on the front panel, and a bit of creasing at the head of the spine. The volume lacks the travel plan. A clean, tight copy. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Signed By the Author.
