Green and white illustration to end papers. 233 pp. with 7 colour plates and 20 black and white plates. The book is in good condition with minor shelf-wear to the extremities of the cover and quite heavy sunning of the spine (titles still legible). The binding is tight. There is a dedication and a former owner's name and address to the top of the ffep. There is light foxing to the end papers and fore-edge, otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked.

With all 6 Deco style, delicately-colored illustrations by Ben Kutcher. Black and white decorations as well. First several pages with a soft crease near upper corner, and frontispiece hinge has been reinforced neatly with clear tape. Spine lettering has faded and spine panel has a crease down the center. Front pictorial inset has allover scuffing and a few small chips to edges. A nice copy overall.
