Grey boards, overall bright, bumped at the front corners, clean pages, solid, dj is chipped at the top of the spine, lightly chipped at the bottom, several small creases and tears at the top edge, dj is now in mylar sleeve. There are 12 color plates including the frontis.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Undated, likely early 1920s. Bound in clean red cloth with title, author and illustration of "The Magic Horse" stamped in black on the front cover. Page edges are clean. Decorative endpapers. Corners are sharp and the binding is firm. Very light wear on the spine caps. Light tan off-setting on the title page from the facing plate. Gift inscription dated "Christmas, 1925" on the half title page. Small gift label pasted on the page after half title page.There are infrequent smudges in the margins of some pages, but the text is generally clean and unmarked. The 16 tipped in color plates, and other in text drawings by Dulac are clean, clear and unmarked. Six stories in large print on heavy stock paper. Dust jacket, in good condition with a .75" closed tear on the back edge of the spine panel near the head and small chips, tears at the spine caps and corners, is completely intact. No original price is indicated on DJ. 237 pp.
