Hardcover. Condition: Good. Hardcover. Tan and yellow paper over boards with blue cloth over spine. Yellow lettering on spine. Illustration of boy with yak on front cover. Title and copyright pages dated 1938.63 pages. In good condition. Covers are quite toned, with speckled fading and light tidelines on front and back covers. Small red and green smudge on back cover, possibly crayon markings. Fair amount of bumping along head and foot of spine, as well as at corners -- has caused some wear to spine and paper, partially revealing boards beneath. Color illustrations by Kurt Wiese throughout. With the exception of a few smudges here and there as well as some light toning from age, pages are clean, free of marks or tears overall. NOT an ex-library copy. Outside appearance is a bit more worn, but inside contents remain in good, readable condition.
