Condition: Good. 1949. First Edition. 176 pages. No dust jacket. Yellow cloth. Black & white illustrations. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding is shaky, however pages remain fully attached. Heavier tanning to endpaper & pastedowns. Pen inscription to front pastedown. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Spine has crushing to both ends. Book has forward lean. Black staining present.

With b/w drawings by Amy Low. No dedications etc. In very good pink and red dust jacket with sketch of man to front and white titles - edges a little worn with crease and one small closed tear to top edge. Not price clipped. Inside removable quality plastic jacket.
