La cospicua corrispondenza presente in Archivio ha altresà permesso di restituire un quadro particolareggiato, commovente e talvolta crudo della vita vissuta nel conservatorio dalle projette e dal personale dedito alla loro cura e assistenza. Il volume offre quindi un sussidio multidisciplinare non solo a chi vorrà conoscere la storia del Santuario di Santa Maria della Armi ma anche a tutti coloro i quali sono interessati alla storia della beneficienza e delle opere assistenziali in Calabria.
