Seller: William Allen Word & Image, London, United Kingdom
Condition: Very Good. Poster. 541 x 402mm. Printed black on white stock. An historic poster made by the WWAU, for their exhibition that was entitled Hang Up, Put Down, Stand Up. As featured and discussed in Amy Tobin, Women Artists Together - Art in the Age of Womens' Liberation, Yale University Press, New Haven and London, 2023, pp. 42-45. Despite the representation of each artist individually through their signatures on the poster and their statements in print the conversation emphasises the importance of the group . Rare.
