Unbound. Condition: Very Good. B/w Engraving (illustrator). 1st. 1/2 page engravied portrait of George Wallace Melville, United States Navy officer, engineer and Arctic explorer. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1861 and served as an engineer during the American Civil War. The other half o the page is a New Yrok city scene at the pension office in canal street with a crowd in line to be paid. Size: 11'' x 16''.
