Cloth. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Two volume set in the original dark brown cloth with blind stamped ruled lines to the covers. Bindings are tight. Volume 1 has a small crease to the lower corner of the front board. The tip to the upper corner of the rear board is worn. . A couple of faded spots to the rear cover. Rear board is slightly worn. Gilt title on spine is hardly visible. Former owner's signature to the FFEP. Contains 9 incredible color multi-foldout maps. These maps are huge and are extremely detailed. This is one of the finest set of maps I have ever seen. Volume 2 has a couple of small tears to the head of the spine. Cloth faded to a good portion of the rear cover. Gilt title spine is faded. Index. Volume 1 - 809 pages, plus maps. 2 1/4 in. thick. Volume 2 - pages 810 to page 2287. 3" thick. The original government report which incorporated the Hawaiian Islands as a possession of the United Staes. RARE. Size: 6" x 91/4" 1st Printing Language: eng 1st Printing.
