Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Amer ed. Red cloth covers with gold lettering on spine. Covers are slightly worn and soiled and lettering has faded a bit. Previous owner's name and address written in ink ( part of it has been crossed out and corrected with red pencil) on front end page. End pages soiled and stained. Contents are tight without any writing in the text but some of the fore edges are chipped. Technical manual designed for home defense uses. The information was mainly based upon experiences with gas during World War I.
