Bound in full leather, much scuffed and bumped. Spine dry and cracking, except where it is chipped away altogether. Frontispeice detached, but all else present. Copies of this book are housed in the rare book room at the NY Society Library and at the NY Public Library. According to their records, the books were likely issued bound in a single volume, despite the different dates on the title pages. A very scarce collection of plays and an early NY imprint. Little is known of Minshull he toured Europe in the early 1800 s and inspired some poems of ridicule (see the 2004 edition of the Cambridge History of American Literature). ** A Comedy, entitled the Sprightly Widow, with the Frolics of Youth; or A Speedy Way of Uniting the Sexes, by Honorable Marriage.
