Faded gilt title on the spine. Top edge gilt. Some wrinkles to the cloth covers. Light edge wear to the cloth extremities. This copy has light damp stains lower gutters in the preliminary pages. More light damp staining to the top edges towards the back and affecting the portrait of Mosby taken in 1915. No mold or mildew found inside. A fair to good copy. Howes M 854; Nevins II page 78 - "Written late in life with the assistance of his brother-in-law; includes some of Mosby's letters.".
